  1. It's always best to bring someone along.  If you didn't get dilation for your exam, see if you can put contact lenses (if you wear them) in.  That way you'll be able to see yourself in the mirror and with a buddy, you'll have a second opinion.


  2. Of course another opinion is always helpful.  Especially from someone who's familiar with your looks/face shape etc.

  4. Definately, although it depends on how well you trust your optician, I'd have no worries taking my opticians advice.

    But better to be safe than sorry, take someone whose opinion you can count on.
