Optimistic point of view – 8-2 – the best result for Arsenal? (Part 2)
Despite having a lot of second team players in the starting line-up, Arsenal had a first choice attack. While http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Robin-van-Persie-c31380
played as the sole striker for the North London side.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 were looking like League Two side as they played against Manchester United. The Red Devils simply schooled the Gunners as they won the game 8-2. Arsenal looked to be coming back into the game before half time as they scored a goal to make the score
line 3-1. However, Manchester United were simply too strong for them and Arsenal’s defence was all over the place as they conceded eight goals.
Even though this was the worst result for Arsenal in the history of the English Premier League, there still a little bit of optimism left in the Gunner fans. All the Gooners should now be optimistic as this fixture was an eye opener for Arsene Wenger who
does not look to be a big fan of signing star players. The Frenchman has rarely signed expensive players and believes he can build a team around young, talented but inexperienced players.
Arsenal have lost most of their star players in the last few seasons and they are now suffering from experience rather than talent. There is no doubt that the North London side have exceptionally talented young players; however, what they lack is experience.
None of the young players are used to of playing in the first team during big games and whenever it comes down to playing a team like Manchester United, the pressure is always high.
Sir http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ryan-Giggs-c31985 stepped up to aid the team in scoring and assisting
a lot of goals.
Moreover, Sir Alex Ferguson scouted the perfect striker for them – Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez. The young Mexican managed to score when it was absolutely necessary. He stepped forward and helped Ferguson realize that 4-4-1-1 formation is the best option
for him and that same formation helped the English side win the Premier League and later helped them qualify for the final of the UEFA Champions League which they lost to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604.
Arsene Wenger now has to learn from his compatriot Sir Alex Ferguson and sign players who might not be expensive but experienced. Players who can help the team grow and mature. Wenger has a lot of options available and definitely http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Eden-Hazard-c11863 is not one of
those players who will help Arsenal grow mentally and as a team.
Arsene Wenger has to work on building a team just like he did a few years back when he was available to form the invincible. However, now he has sold most of his extraordinary players – Cesc Fabregas and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Samir-Nasri-c32360; therefore, he has to buy suitable replacements
for both of them.
