Optimum Electrolyzer Voltage and Amperage

Question

What is the optimum voltage and amperage for an electrolyzer using stainless steel electrodes and approximately 2 liters of water with baking soda added as an electrolyte? Also where is the best place to buy cheap yet good quality fuel cells or their parts? Any help will be appreciated.

I'm not sure what your optimal settings will be here. Not sure if you'll find the information as you didn't state the exact amount of Baking Soda. You best bet is to test it out and to see what the best is.

From what I understand 2 volts is the optimum voltage, any more and it is lost heating the water.

Current is determined by electrode area and spacing.
