Optio S5i Stuck Lens

Question

I know there are previous posts on this issue but they havent solved my problem. I was taking a picture and dropped the camera whilst it was still on and the lens out. Now the lens is stuck halfway out and when I power up it beeps but does nothing else and switches itself back off. I have tried removing the battery for 24hrs then powering backup to no avail. Any suggestions appreciated.
