Options Work in Canada?

My friend wants to move to Canada to be with her online bf...is it hard to find work there..I'm not sure where it is she is planning to go to..she does not have any paticular skills..so what are her options..and is she allowed to work there or does she need to get a visa..I'm concerned about this plan of hers..

No, it would still be necessary to obtain a Canadian work permit. Conversely, a Canadian work permit does not automatically entitle an individual to work in any other countries.

You can't work in Canada without a Social Insurance Number, called a SIN card. She can apply for a work visa through the government website (www.gc.ca) but will need to have her documents sorted out before she applies for a job in Canada. It is not difficult at all to find work in Canada, as there are always jobs for unskilled workers. She can go to the Governement run Employment centre once she gets her Visa. Tell her not to attempt to arrive in Canada without documents to work or they will put her back on the next plane home.

If she is unskilled, sorry, she will not get permission to work in Canada. There are enough unskilled workers already and we don't need more.

Everyone needs a visa to come here to work and, without any skills, she won't get a visa.

A bigger concern I have is that she would want to be with someone she has not ever met in person. Online "relationships" are not real ones and I'd be more concerned that she would eventually discover that he isn't what she expects. However, she can come to Canada as a visitor; she just cannot work in Canada because she wouldn't qualify for a visa.
