Optrex infected eye drops to prevent eyelid inflammation for contacts wearers

i sometimes feel like there is something wrong with my eyes although i always use contact lenses drops and eye wash after i take out my contacts. i have some optrex infected eye left from when i had an infection and was wonderng if i put a drop in each eye at night after i take out my contacts would it be ok or is it dangerous to uses it too aften.

what can i use to prevent inflammation of eyelids..my eye sometime start to feel sticky and i get a small discharge. i wear contact 5 to 6 days a week

Go and see your GP.  You might have blepharitis or a mild infection.  If you've already used the drops before and you've still got an infection, you should let the doctor clear it up for you.  Don't wear your lenses while you get better.  Really clean them properly in case there are germs on them to reinfect you - and make sure you are better before you put them in again.  Don't chance it with old eyedrops.  They only last 28 days.  

  3. Don't chance it. Eye drops have a date on them for usuage. As eyes are very delicate it is best to have a word with your optician or Doctor.
