my sister and i have been wondering why this friendster user "salvajeh 26" keeps on insulting my sister because of what happened to her. she's pregnant in an early age and this person insults her with words like "p**a, pokpok" in filipino (w***e) and she was like telling my sister her baby is a monster and she insults our family. She's so mean that my sister and i cannot stand her. we're not used to hearing those words because we grew up in a decent family and we are very particular with manners. but when i saw the message, i replied and i made some defense.

based on what happened, are we allowed to file a defamation or libel against the person? and also the family of the person was very mean to my sister before.

it started when their daughter tried to committ suicide because her boyfriend left her for my sister. SHALLOW RIGHT? arrrgh!! please help :)

  1. Well, I see now why this girl is angry with your sister.  This BF is that who got your sister pregnant and are they still together?  The best possible thing to do to just ignore her.  No money is lost due to her insults, she doesn't have to go to counseling or some other extreme.  This girl is very jealous of your sister so I don't think she will stop but I'm not sure that you can take her to court.  Her bone is with her ex man not your sister but your sister is the easier target.

  2. You can report the user to have his account banned. If he/she creates a new account and still flames your sister, you can either make your account private and hence choosing to receive messages from your own circle of friends. In that way, you have removed her form of communication with you.

How long has been this going on? Recently? If it's recent, I suggest ignoring her. Her interest might die one day and she is only venting her frustrations on your sister.

However, if she threatens you or something, it is possible to file a threat report against her.
