Oral interview with IBEW apprenticeship. I don't know how to respond to these simple questions---please help.?

Question

Why do you want to become an Electrician? What can you offer us?

These two questions are not something that you can memorize from a book.  Your answers have to come from the gut.  Why do you want to become an IBEW electrician? What can you offer?  They are looking for sincere, truthful answers.  You tell them how you feel and they will know it.  Do not try to blow smoke up their rears, they will know that too.

I have a good mechanical aptitude.I am looking for a stable career, not just a job, that pays well enough I can support myself and my family on.

I will be at work, on time every day. I am safety conscience, for myself and others around me.
