does OJ with pulp have more vitamins than without pulp?

  1. Vitamins. No the pulp product would have LESS vitamins but not enough to even matter.

    First take one glass of 100% Juice and you have X % vitamins.

    Second take another glass of Juice but that one contains juice and pulp. So the small amount of pulp takes up some of the original juice. So now you have X % vitamins minus Y% of vitamins taken up by the pulp or fiber!!!


  2. Supposedly yes. I can't stand pulp though, and I think when they strain it the juice they "put" vitamins and other nutrients back in.

  4. It probably has about the same vitamins and minerals.  

    However, if you include the pulp, you are getting more of the helpful fibre of the fruit.  Plus, it's got a wonderful texture.
