Orange on tip of cover girl liquid liner?

Question

I got a liquid eyeliner by conver girl. it was sealed properly when i bought it. It is brown. there was some orange liquid on the tip when i opened it and i dont know what it is. It seems to have mixed in with the rest of it. was it just some of the colour that didnt mix in?

I don't know but you need to change make-up every 6 months,they get full of bacteria

ur supposed to mix it around...

alot of liquid makeup need shaking or mixing before u use it. Its because the ingredients separate.

Since u just bought it, it means that it was sitting for a while on the shelf before u bought it. Its fine, just put the wand in it and mix it around.

it was probably some other eyeliner that spilled and it accidentally go onto the eyeliner u bought.

Well, if a liquid made up of more than one component (makeup HAS many) is left to sit without mixing at all, some of the product will seperate. For example, when you mix oil with water, the oil rises to the top.

If the eyeliner is supposed to be brown, and the tip is orange, i dont think you should go for it

take it back to the store and explain the situation to them.

they'll most likely let you exchange it for a new one.

That is probably the product settling inside the packaging. It usually happens to some water or oil based products if they've been sitting for a while in the same position. Just shake the product vigorously or stir it about if there is enough room.

But there is nothing wrong with your product so don't worry about it. If you do want to take it back they will probably reassure you and explain at the store. They may even exchange you another one if they feel you're not happy.

Hmmm.......well if the liner is supposed to be BROWN then there shouldn't be any orange in it? Take it back and return it for a new one! Don't take the chance!
