Orange phone delivery crazy?

I ordered a new line with orange I have to say the 400min for £25 with a new phone is great but the delivery say they missed, I was at home all day near the door wating for it..heard no knocks or bell ringing then a card was inserted on my door saying "we missed" I quickly went out and saw the driver got into his van I went up to him and I asked why he didn't knock or ring bell he said he did!!!

okay bearing in mind the driver's lie, the card says I have to pay £12 to have it re-delivered saturday otherwise wait until monday and if I want it before 12am its £6 ect..

have you had similar story? ah by the way the driver of the company didn't give me my phone saying he already issued the missed card..

This sounds like just another can't be bleeding bothered worker who can't be bleeding bothered.

It's a pity you suffered though but society now shouts "Whatever" all the time. A lot of our workforce seems to want to do nothing for their pay.

Ask the phone company to ask the delivery company to waive the charges, if not refuse the phone and go else where for it.

sounds fishy, ring up the company you are getting the phone from and confirm all this

You should contact parcelline and make an official complaint. There is no reason why he couldn't give you the phone once you had come out to speak to him, regardless of whether or not he had already written the card.
