  1. Trees are green.

  2. Hi J0v4nny,

    1. Orange trees are dicots.

    2. The sweet orange tree is Citrus sinensis (there are a number of orange tree varieties)... see link, below.

    3. Bloom time of orange trees is in spring.

    4. The color of its blossom is white, with somewhat yellow stamens.

    5. Reproduction takes place in the flower.  The male gamete of the pollen fertilizes the female gamete of the ovary and an orange seed/fruit (actually a berry called a pip) is produced.  However, trees, such as the Navel oranges which have no seeds are reproduced by grafting.

    6. Uses of the plant are for food, juices, vitamins, garnishments (using the rind), and oil from the rind of the orange is used to produce perfumes and household solvents.  The blossoms are also used in flower arrangements... it is Florida's State flower.

    7. The plant's ancient ancestors were in Asia.

    8. Generally the Citrus sinensis can grow to about 32 feet in height; however, they usually pruned to shorter heights to increase production and ease of harvesting.

    I hope this helps.
