Orangy worm looking thing?

Ok I just woke up and I found a tiny centimeter sized orange worm thing, it has so head or tail and it was just squirming. I don't know what it is, and I have a cat so maybe its from that.

Its 5 am and I can't sleep now, I'm scared!

What could it be

It sounds like a mealworm (tenebrio beetle larva) or some kind of moth caterpillar. Either way it's harmless.
