Order of postage stamps on envelope?

i am sending a letter to a friend who lives in texas, and i have a 41 cent stamp and a 1 cent stamp. is there a particular order they have to go? like the 1 cent in the corner?

please help i have to get this letter in the mail today!

It doesn't matter. as long as its in the general area of the corner, and is the right amount. They can even be upside down.

Even if it mattered, the workers at the post office typically aren't smart enought to know its wrong anyway.

order does not matter. as long as all the postage is in the upper right hand corner.
