On June 9 my mother went to her local PC Penney store and placed an order $1200 worth of window coverings. She was told that they were instock and would be shipped within 2 weeks.
Time went by and nothing.
On July 18, she received a notification stating that her window coverings were being shipped and would be able for pick-up at the store in 7-9 days.
Now, what can she do? Is there anything JCPenneys can do to ammend this situation?
This is outragous customer service. Had she known that the fabric was back ordered (I'm guessing), she would have canceled her order completely.
