Ordering bridesmaid dresses?

My cousin asked me to be in her wedding the other day. The wedding is on Sept 26, 2008, so, like a month! I'm going to David's Bridal to pick out my dress on Tuesday, which is the quickest day possible. Has anyone ordered a dress from there? How long did it take to come in? Do they have alot of dresses already in stock?

  1. Never go on Sat. Always go in the morning when they first open. They usually want you to make an apt, but if you explain that this is a last minute, they might accommodate you.  I'm a bride who went there, I don't think they let you buy off the rack, and most of their items have at least  a six week turn around, so be looking to pay a rush fee. They told me it would be six wks to get a veil, and a jacket back. You should (if you can) try other bridal stores that let you buy off the rack. David's Bridal ONLY sells their dresses, so nothing you see in the magazine by another designer other than them will be there. Good luck tou you and your cousin. If you have anymore questions pls feel free to email me. I am also a planner

  2. David's Bridal keeps a lot in stock, they want to make things easy.  Check out the link below before you go in on Tuesday.  It will show you the dresses they sell, the sizes it's available in, the price, and if it's available in the store.

    Don't stress, have fun.

If the bride's not worried, you don't need to be, either! : )

  3.   David's Bridal has a pretty large stock of dresses. And lots of online stores have in-stock discounted gowns.

Ur cousin should've already picked out  dresses 4 her bridesmaids, etc.- unless she's letting u all just wear whatever.  That, 2 me, sounds kinda risky, unless she's given u a pretty good idea of what she wants u all 2 look like.  Also, it's EXTREMELY short notice 4 YOU, and puts added pressure on u 2 find an appropriate dress, get it fitted, ordered AND have it in time 4 the wedding.  I wish u lots of luck!!

Does she have a color scheme? Dress style? Price range? If I were u, I'd definitely want 2 see what the rest of the party's wearing, so u all will look like u belong in the same wedding!!  Maybe I misunderstood u on this... if so, please accept my apologies.  Here r 2 sites I looked up 4 u:
