Ordering online lenses... plus (+) or minus (-)?

Question

I just received contact lenses I bought online BUT now I'm worried that I've bought the wrong ones.

I'm long-sighted, I can't see far away, and I know my prescription is 2.5 but don't know if it should be +2.5 or -2.5.

I ordered +2.5 focus dailies but don't want to open them in case I need to send them back. Have I bought the right ones?

If it's wrong, where can I buy contact lenses that will arrive really quickly and not too expensive! thanks!

If you are far sighted ( long sighted), it will be the + power you need.

Near sighted would wear the -

But...how did you do that without a written prescription ?

Well if you have no clue if you are near or far sighted, you have a problem.

You have glasses I presume...if your lenses are thin in the center and thicker at the outer edges, thay are - ( minus) lenses

If they are thicker in the center than the outer edge, they are + lenses.

That just shows how the online sites are NOT following the law like they say they do.

You could be  far or near sighted and have distance problems either way.
