Ordering problems, please help?

if i put a zip code that is not for the street im ordering to, but is a zip code near by, will the post office correct it? correct=87501, the one i put wrong=87505

  1. Nope........I have received mail back as undeliverable when I have accidentally used the incorrect zip code.


  2. Sometimes they will, sometimes they won't.  It's extra work for them either way (returning it, or fixing it).  Some mail carriers have routes that include different zip codes, so it might be a quick fix.  Also, if they know the area well, it'd be easy for them to fix it as well.

  3. Sometimes they will correct it, but it does slow the delivery time way down!

  4. They might, but more than likely it will be returned. Why not go to the USPS web site and enter the address under the ZIP finder link. It will tell you the correct zip code for the address you are sending it to.
