Oregano oil entering the eye accident?

Oregano oil is a below 3.5 pH acid. Although she flushed her eye immediately after it entered, and continued flushing it with eyewash, after three days her eye is still red and painful. She's almost unable to open her eyelid, and there are oily secretions around her eye. Is there any way to remove the oregano oil residue from her eye? What's the worst scenario that can happen to her eye?

I am asking this for a family member, and help is verily appreciated. Thanks for reading.

go to the optometrist immediately!! have you tried using a medicated eye wash as well as putting eye drops in the lubricate them. i would suggest trying that aswell but only the optometrist can give you something stronger. worst scenario is it will be red for a while until the infection has cleared up but dont worry about her losing her sight or anything as its not strong enough for that!
