Oregon or North Carolina

Question

My Boyfriend and I are moving however we haven't decided on where. He's from Oregon and he's wanting to move back, I on the other hand am from CA and have lived in Denver for the past 10 years I'm sort of over the West and the East is way expensive. He's lived here on and off for about 7. We're both looking for some where green and beautiful, and out of sight of all those that use to know us. I'm not sure which state to move to, so far those are the top two. Just want your take on it

May I suggest Hawaii?

It's expensive, but it's green, beautiful all year long, and you'll definitely be out of sight from all those that use to know you.
