I don't know where to start with this one! I want Oregon wine for my PA wedding. I heard that they have some good pinot grigio!

Which ones are best and I do I get it in Pennsylvinia?

  1. The easy way is to go into the state store and, if they don't have the wine you want, have them order it for you. If they can't, it is legal for you to buy it yourself. I've heard good things about Pop's Wines, in NY, but have never ordered from them myself.

  2. First let me say what great taste you have! I was born and raised in Oregon and they have wonderful wines! The best vineyard is located very close to where I grew up, Willamette Valley Vineyard. Their website is www.WVV.com. My favorite from them is Oregon Blossom which is a blush. My hubby loved their Pinot Grigio and Merlot. Hope this helps you and congratulations!

  3. I've been to the State Stores in PA and they do have Oregon wines.

Should not be hard to find.  If that is your preferance then go with the Oregon Pinot Noirs.  If you want a good west coast Pinot Grigio go with the Washington State whites.

As you are being married in PA you might want to try a Chardonnay or a blend called Merica from the Chadsford winery in PA.

  4. I don't know what the Pennsylvania alcohol laws are, but certainly you should be able to find Oregon wines there. As long as it is not against state law you could order it online and have it shipped to you in PA.

I live in North Carolina and there is an abundance of Oregon wines in this state.

    Some good reputatable wineries:

    Williamette Valley Vineyards

    Bridgeview Blue Moon Riesling

    Oak Knoll Vineyards

    Ponzi Estates

    Willakenzie Vineyards

Oregon is known for their great pinot noirs in particular. They are delicious.
