  1. Are two different types of farming. To get an organic stamp a farm must meet several rigorous tests on soil quality, air quality and care full use of some organic chemicals. Inorganic farming on the other hand involve the growing of food/ raising of animals with the use of inorganic chemicals and pesticides, it is less expensive but food quality is less than in an organic farm.

  2. i thought that said ignorant farming  whoops

  3. Why do you care

  4. Organi c is easier on crops but the fertilizer is not very rich. Good for small scale specialty fruits and cash crops.

Inorganic is great for large scale where concentrated chemical fertilizers are diluted with water whicha cts as a carrying agent and is good in very barren areas.

  5. I'll give you the inside scoop. Fertilizers drain all the nutrients out of the soil so plant don't grow worth a darn after a few years without it. So long term where ruining the soil.

If you do it right you can come out withe the same results as you can with fertilizer as with manure and rotational planting (at least in ground crops). You can also make organic pesticides that are competitive with chemical, but weed control that's the big problem! There's not mutch in that area!

    Just something to think about.

  6. Organic

  7. Organic definitley

although it requires loads more work it is better for the environment in the long run

  8. farming with chemicals makes everyone sick.  Think there is a correlation between all these lovely diseases and conditions that seem to be blooming in epidemic proportions in "first world" countries?  Particularly in the U S where we are even more backward as far as dumping tons of poison on our food as well as genetic engineering which is also harmful.  But I won't get started on that.

Get that?  We put POISON on our FOOD.

  9. Organic farming just means no SYNTHETIC chemicals are allowed to be used... which pretty much means anything goes. Organic farmers have been known to use anything from old engine oil to bacillus thuriengensis on their crops instead of pesticides, which in most cases are much more harmful to the environment than so called "bad" synthetic fertilisers and pesticides.

However, organic farming must strictly adhere to certain criteria to classify as organic and hence you know exactly what you're getting every time.

  10. organic, the way it was meant to be.
