  1. Bread and pasta, maybe a salad.  Something that has no meat.  At a friend's house, I eat before I go.  At a restaurant, I eat pasta with cheese.  Yum.  Bread and milk, crackers and cheese.  (I'm a lactose vegetarian, so I drink milk.  I don't eat eggs directly, but I do eat things with eggs.)

I love granola, too, that is my snack.  I love organic chips and annie's macaroni and cheese, it's organic and awesome.  It tasted sooo good.

  2. I don't go out to eat that often..it's too expensive!  When I do go, I usually have a pasta dish that is veg*n friendly.  My friends are thoughtful enough to make pasta as a side dish along with veggies and everyone can eat that.

  3. I eat organic and free range because I believe it's better for me and my young family. The cost is irrelevant to me when I see my children growing up strong and healthy because of my efforts.

When I eat at a friend s house, I eat whatever they give me as a matter of common courtesy and when I eat out I usually go to places that I know will provide a good range of organic/free range  foods if not I just order whatever takes my fancy on the menu.

  4. When I'm invited over for dinner, I always bring an appetizer and dessert.  I'll call the host/hostesse and let him/her know my diet needs, and usually he/she's willing to accomodate.  If it's an inconvenience, I'll bring my own little meal.

Finding organic vegan food in my city isn't a challenge.  My two favorite restaurants serve all locally grown/produced organic food, and there are ample vegan selections.

  5. Salad is pretty simple

if going to friends, bring some tofo and ask if they can grilll it along their burgers or whatever they are cooking

restraunts usually have a small section for vegatarians, vigans, and organic eaters

also, if there is somthing were there is only a small portion of meat, ask the waiter for a replacement or substitute for that

rice, soup, salad, pasta are good restraunt food choices

small off the wall restraunts will let you bring in something and they cook it up

  6. I can usually find a good vegetarian dish at any restaurant, even ones that are not just salads.

Plus you can always ask them to leave off the meat on the dish if possible.

My sister is vegan and has a harder time finding good restaurants. When we go out and eat it'll be at a good thai place, you can find anything vegan or vegetarian there.

  7. I eat food.  No meat or meat byproducts - just food - like everyone else - except the people that eat meat and meat byproducts......

It's all about personal choice.  If I am going to a restaurant - I know that they may not be using all organic - and it is a choice that I have made to go there and eat.

Friends house?  I take food - because such is considered the 'neighborly thing to do' where I live.  I eat what they have made that I can eat and eat what I have brought to share with others.
