  1. crushed garlic and water mixed

  2. Simply rinse it with water or with organic dish soap and water.

  3. Squish them.

  4. A common method is that you research what bugs are in your garden, what other creatures eat those bugs (that are harmless to your garden) and then do something to attract them or (make your garden able to support such creatures and) add some to your garden and they will take care of things for you.

Visitors to your garden usually need to have it explained that these are friends, not to be harmed...esp if the eatER is another species of insect.

As Elton John would say...The circle of LIIIIIIIIIIIIIFE...

  5. depends on what bugs you are trying to get rid of

slugs for instance, i use crushed egg shells

any kind of ants etc i use onion peelings, you have to make these into a solution with water and keep for 6 weeks, then use

some animals are repelled buy plants like lavender, rosemary etc so its prudent to grow these nearby

its quite easy to repel bugs once you know what you are dealing with though,
