Organization while moving

So my husband and I are moving end of this month...Does it make since to organize our stuff now...

Whats the best way to organize..on a spent buget

Sure it makes sense to organize your belongings it just makes the unpacking part easier!  If you need FREE boxes, TAPE or other moving item you can try a POST on FREECYCLE.ORG it's FREE and you can get just about anything you need.  It's also a GREAT place to get rid of things instead of throwing them away... You can also ask friends/family that work in an office enviroment if they get copy paper to save the boxes they are GREAT to pack books and they have nice sturdy lids!  

I would pack the clothes you need and want to wear once you move in your suitcases/luggage!  That way it will be easy to find and you'll have stuff pre-packed!  Label your boxes on ALL side so you can read them wherever they "land"!  Pack by room/belonging... I use kitchen towels/linens to protect kitchen dishes!  I also- SAVE boxes by transporting clothing in heavy duty 30 gal trash bags that can be used later for TRASH!  

I have a pretty sizeable collection of plasticware- so I went through EVERYTHING and got rid of anything that was melted, didn't have a lid etc...

Just be "creative" and the money won't be an issue!

id say the best way is to put everything in gruops

the biggest stuff first smalelst stuff after defintily

organize now

and then move cautisoly

If you are moving at the end of the month you have already waited to late to start getting organized.  Start by throwing away things you do not use. Pack seasonal items now.  Make a list of all the services you need to discontinune  at your present location and sign up for at your new location.  Start a list of all the people you need to send change of addresses to.  go ahead and reserve your moving van if you are going go that route.  There are so many details to moving if you leave everything until the last week or so things will get over looked. When I move I make list of what needs to be done each day 2 weeks before I actually put a box in  a truck.  Good luck--Well begun is almost done
