I am going to be a sophomore and last year i have 7 classes. Last year i had a binder for every class. It was annoying and very disorganized. What is the best way to keep everything together with not continually going to your locker????

  1. there isnt a need for a seperate binder for each class.

just get one binder that is big enough to carry all of your papers.

  2. Instead of binders use a folder for every class. They are much lighter and easier to carry, then keep everything for that class in it's respective folder. You can carry three classes stuff at a time easily.

Also you could buy book covers for all your books, then fold papers that aren't like final writing assignments, and put them in the book cover of the book for that class, that way everything is together.

  3. Well I only did 4 subjects but within those I had separate units that I needed folders for.

What you need to do is figure out what days you always have the same subjects on, and what subjects have less paperwork, then you combine them.

You can make it so you go to the locker only in the morning and at lunch.

You have to figure it out based on your timetable though!

I feel your pain though cos' I cycle to school so I need to carefully do my locker so I don't have to carry too much to and from school.

  4. maybe with a bag.....

and you can put...your others subjets in you locker..

for example... in monday.. you have... spanish and math...

you can use in you bag... only spanish and math

and in you locker you can... put.. chemestry...

    ...

of course don´t forget.. you homework!!!!

  5. Well I used a filed binder last year. I brought it to every class with me. It was very convenient and easy so you wouldn't forget anything. The only problem is over packing too much paper in it. I recommend cleaning it out on a regular basis because mine ripped after a while. They are very handy though.

  6. a big binder. wen i was a sophomore i used a big binder, and i was pretty organized throughout the year

  7. honestly a binder for every class IS best

  8. Maybe try leaving that binder for each class in that class somehow..ask the teacher

I usually just carry all mine in a bookbag though.

  9. if your not the forgetful type you could get 3 subject notebooks and have 3 classes in each, and carry the folder for those classes with you. you will still have to go to your locker for your books but it will be just a quick in and out thing instead of having to put everything away. or you could do one big binder for each class with dividers in it so you can keep adding paper, and again still needing to go to get books but just a quick in and out thing.

  10. if you don't have many books to carry use pocket folders or one big binder with dividers

try using as least amount of books or useless stuff that could take place for no reason

  11. Folders are good to hold anything that you need in a second (like homework to turn in and notes to continue).

Binders are good for storing paper and already taken notes.

Notebooks are good for taking notes if you don't like taking notes on looseleaf paper.

Try using thin binders for each class (like 1 and 1/2 inches). Make sure you throw uneccary computers.

  12. I tend to use a 1.5" binder for three classes. If you put a nice, plastic folder in the three hole prongs, you can use the first flap/binding for one hour, the folder for another, and the back flap/binding for a third. Keeps you organized, and you don't have to visit your locker as often.
