Question:

Organizing files on a video iPod?

I have a 30Gb video iPod that I've used to store music and some audio and video podcasts. With these files they load properly through iTunes and they show up under the various headings within my video iPod (under music, podcasts or video podcasts.

I recently went to a website that listed a number of "podcasts" they had for download. These are essentially 20-25 minute MP3 files of an independent radio "broadcast". Since these are MP3s, when I upload them into iTunes and onto my iPod they fall in with the rest of my music and not under my regular listing of audio podcasts.

What do I need to do to these files to have them show under my audio podcasts? Do I need to change their format? Do I need to manually move them to a different spot on the video iPod?

Any assistance would be appreciated.

  1. Some time the files which are in different format may not be recognize by the system like IPOD. So if they are not going in the auto way then you have to move those files manually. Another thing that you can do is to have a convertor to convert those files to the format which you IPOD can accept. To get the list of convertors you can go to the below mentioned web site

    www.download.com

from there you can have the required convertor.
