Question:

Organizing for school?

Does anyone have any tips on how to stay organized during the school year? I'm going to be a sophomore and last year my backpack and desk was a mess. I always tell myself I'll be more organized, but I never stick to it. Any tips on organization in general are appreciated.

  1. Make it your priority to organize yourself every Friday or weekend.

  2. Hi Amanda!  I have a lot of experience with this and I know how hard it can be to stay organized.

First, every Saturday clean out your backpack and your desk and take out all papers that you will not be using anymore.  I throw away the stuff I don't need, but I also keep a box under my bed for anything I'd like to keep.  It's always helpful to go back and review.

Also, you might find it helpful to keep all your papers in a binder.

If you'd like to become even more organized, make up a morning and evening routine and fit in time everyday for homework.  You can also have a planned time and place for studying before a test.

For more help, I'm sure a family, friend, or teacher would be more than happy to help you out!

    Good Luck with everything!

    Always,

    Natalie ;)
