  1. you could hang things if you have the space

I use a heavy weight hanger for jeans and hang tops with them in outfits. I put a divider box in my top drawer.  Socks go into it with bras and panties beside. PJ's go in there own drawer>  Beach towels can also be hung along with swimming suits. or put them into a suitcase for the winter unless you use them all year. I do this with all seasonal items. Sneaker keepers are $1 at dollar tree and if you can not get them into a drawer you can put them under the bed or in a closet with the scrap booking stuff stack them under a desk etc. this will free up a dresser drawer.

  2. Try using the categories you already have and put dividers in each drawer to separate them and as far as space saving try folding and rolling. Also getting a roll-under storage bin helps because it slides right under the bed and gives you a space saver.

  3. Put the sports bag under your bed.  Find a box for the school binders and a separate box for the scrapbooking stuff, and put those on the shelf in your closet, or under your bed.  Put the Pj's and the Exercise clothes in the same drawer.  If there is still room, move the tanks and camis there, too.  Roll up your swimsuit inside your beach towel and put it on the shelf in your closet.

  4. I'm assuming you want to keep everything in those four drawers, so here are a couple of things I have tried myself that worked for me.

    1. For my drawer with my socks/panties/etc., instead of buying drawer dividers, I used narrow shoeboxes that fit in their perfectly and put my white socks in one, my colored socks in the next one, etc. until everything was organized.  Obviously, the narrower shoeboxes you use, the more you can fit in the drawer.

    2. For the drawer with the beach towels and swimsuits, I would get some of those small vacuum bags, cheap at wal-mart or someplace like that, since the beach items are seasonal, so when you are not using them you can use one of those bags to flatten them, and then just keep it in the drawer and put stuff on top of it likes it not even there.  Actually, those bags are so convenient, that you don't have to just use them for seasonal items, use them for you everyday stuff to conserve the space if you want.  You don't even have to haul out the vacuum everytime you want to flatten them, you can just roll them like a tube of toothpaste and manually push the air out.

    3. One other thing I might suggest is getting a small bookshelf for your school supplied once you have the money.  I got one for $30 at wal-mart, 3 shelves on it, and it's the best investment I ever made, it freed up so much room for me.  I, like you, used to use my drawer space for my school supplies and clutter, and ended up with overflowing clothes on the floor, and now things are much better.

  5. ok, I'm probably not going to get the best answer, but I'm totally going to try. what you can try is to have you underwear, bras, socks,  and PJ's in the top drawer. then tanks, Cami's, and jean shorts in the second. exercise clothing in third. roll up your beach towels as tight as you can to make space put in third. then your swimsuit in the free space of third. you can buy 2 plastic storage box or cardboard box or something of sort and but your school binders in one, and scrap booking in the other. put those in the floor of you closet. if there is no space in your closet, try to fit them into #4 drawer. roll up the sports bag if you can, and put it under your bed. if you cant put anything under your bed or think you wont remember, put it somewhere in your closet or fit it into #4.

    folding techniques-

for shirts, put the front of the shirt down on your bed, pull the shoulders back and fold like a hamburger. not a hot dog.(hot dog, long up and down, hamburger, fat)

for pants, fold in half like a hot dog and then like a hamburger twice.

you can go to a store you shop at and try to figure the way they fold.

if you have any extra space in any drawers, it doesnt matter. keep it that way to not over whelm the space. b/c im pretty sure your going to get new stuff.
