found it is more reliable at removing lice and eggs from hair than any other that i have used . Flat stainless steel comb .

hope to maybe get Derbac them selves to comment is this comb still being made ? thank you for all replies :)

We have one of these combs. My mother had it when I was a child and we got her to send it so we could use it on our child. I asked my mother (who is a grandmother) and she says that she got it from her grandmother. These things are very old.

There is no comparison with the modern combs. The old derbac comb is a piece of fine metalwork. The slots in the comb are little wider than a human hair. They are square edged slots (not round tines) and so can slice the eggs of the hair.

I have considered taking measurements and getting some made for sale. It may happen yet.
