  1. Contemporary Filipinos result from the introduction of multiple DNA contributions which are responsible for  the current existing genetic potential of the majority of the Filipino population.

    Filipino's have many desirable cultural characteristics which result from the imprint of the contribute values. The DNA of the indigenous population of this island formation has been diluted.  Merchants, merchant seamen, members of foreign military representatives, entrepreneurs,etc.  The national language is Tagalog.  It results from the amalgamation of influences to the indigenous language with the outside contribution provided by travelers.  

    Filipinos, as a group, have contributed much value to the USA by way of an undiluted work and educational ethic. Culturally, they value education and hard work.  They understand the "work ethic" as well as it's rewards.  Many Filipinos understand the relationship between ability, effort, and reward.

    As a group, they care for their elderly, nurture their children, understand loyalty, and are not discouraged by encountered hardships. I admire them as a culture. They provide a great example for any of us to strive for.
