  1. If you need information on each UN agency, you are going to have to use Wikipedia entries and each individual web site for  the history of UNESCO, UNDP, UNIFEM, UNFPA, UNICEF, etc.

  2. i don't have the exact info but basically know it was to get all the worlds countries together to make fare decisions on topics which will affect all the world , financially, politically and world trade, so that no one country can get away with being a tyrant to others or unfairly starting conflict or depriving another country, without being noticed and by all the other country's and having action taken against them , or sort out the situation in a fare democratic way, best thing to do is read the material you have been given and this is study, your answers will be there, pick pieces from each paragraph you think you would like to use, and make notes and put it all together to reflect  how you see and understand it! that's study.

  3. in the early 20s,an urgent need of a strong world community organisation to protect the nations economical requirements. As such the lead was taken from (FINANCIAL & INDUSTRIAL RICH COUNTRYS) US,UK,CANADA etc.started an ORG.called to-day   UNO.

  4. I spent two months last year studying international relations between 1919 to 1939.

Most of the the UN organisations originated from the League of Nations.

At the Paris Peace Conference in 1919 at the end of wwi, US President Woodrow Wilson announced that an international organisation should be set up called the League of Nations, part of his 14 points of peace. Some countries were against the idea.

Wilson lost the next presidential election and the US did not become a member because of the Republican belief of isolationism.

The League of nations then set up a health commitee which is now the World Health Organisation. Look here for more details:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/League_of_n...

The league was successful in the twenties but not in the thirties because the USA was not there to enforce it decisions.

After the collapse of international peace in 1939 and WWII the League was declared extinct in 1945/6 and a new organisation was set up the UN, and the League's agencies transferred to the UN and some new ones were created.

    I hope this has helped.
