1. Works for me and the people at my barn. :)

    It also REALLY helps fungus.

It smells strange though, and makes the the mane and tail pretty greasy. After a couple of days of using it on my mares forelock and not washing it out, it stood up straight when i styled it. lol.

So I would suggest not using it the day before a show, unless you want to wash your horse's mane and tail.

Also, ALWAYS remember to shake it. You want the yellow stuff at the bottom.

    Good luck! :)

  2. It smells like bacon grease, but it works wonders for the people I've seen using it.

My horses don't have bald spots.. but if they did, say, rub their tails, I'd throw some MTG on it any day.

  3. actually, it works great!

My horse had rain rot on her face from sticking her head out of her stall door.

Every couple of days i applied MTG and now it looks great! it grew back fully in about 3 weeks. perfect timing to show!

although if you're using it to make the mane and tail grow longer, then i would suggest wrapping the tail in a tail bag, and keeping the mane braided. the reason for this is because when braided, the mane and tail HOLD the nutrients (MTG) you put into it. also, most reasons that tails and mane don't grow very long are because the ends are breaking off because they are dried out. so keeping it braided also keeps the ends nourished. good luck!
