Original oratory topic ideas???

im on the speech and debate team at my school, and im trying to think of a topic for next year. nothing controversial like religion or politics, and nothing to cliche like originality or body image. i already know how to write an oratory, im just having trouble thinking of a topic. anybody have any ideas??

what are some other good topics for this?

just carry a notebook around all day and write down the things that really excite you, either good or bad. the next day, read through it and see what really gets you passionate and try and branch out from that.
