Definitely not true. You can find genuine phones if you shop in China very easily. You just have to look at the price. However, if you're talking about purchasing products from China online, such as from Ebay, then most likely they are fakes.

Original Nokia, iPhones etc. are due to import taxes, VAT and higher market prices are usually MORE expensive then in many other countries. Therefore, to buy them in China for export does not make sense.

If you see a claimed to be real phone cheap then it's 100% sure a fake, or a scam.

That's not true at all. There are original phones in China. I ordered one there that had diamonds encrusted all around the side and a picture of myself on the cell phone surface with my signature! That is definitely original! No one has the same cell phone as me ! ^_^
