I am going away to florida for two weeks in August, we are doing a week in Orlando, and a week on the Gulf coast, can anyone give us an idea of how much we can expect to pay to eat out?? For example...Burger, fries and a drink, or a pizza, or a fish restaurant, steakhouse etc...

Thanks.

  1. For Disney restaurant menus and prices go to

    www.allears.net

  2. ok.....here is a good idea based on today's prices

Burger restaurant.....fast food....six dollars per adult for a value meal

Sit down burgers, sandwiches, salads twelve dollars per person

Pizzas run about twenty dollars per pie on the high side. ten dollars per pis on the low side

fish can go from fifteen to thirty per person, depending onthe atmosphere...the more you pay the nicer the place.

steaks.. about 25-30 per person for a middle of the road steakhouse, or course you can spend much much more if you like.

Off property *meaning not at Disney* will be cheaper. Orlando is full of great restaurants as you get into the city, and down International drive. You can find tons of great places to eat here.

    Hope this helps

  3. Pretty much the same everywhere else, all the typical chain type stuff.  I prefer Checkers for fast food burgers, but thats just me. I would not eat at Disney if are you going, eat big breakfast and bring snacks or sandwiches.

Cuban food is also tasty  and a great alternative to fast food Usually inexpensive if you find a casual joint that serves home style food and Cuban sandwiches.

If you will be in the Clearwater Beach area, this is THE place locals and tourists go for a very casual, insanely fresh, delish, and relatively inexpensive seafood on the beach, they have their own fishing fleet:
