Ormoc Airport, Philippines?

Question

Can anyone tell me if the Ormoc Airport is finished with it`s reconstructions and open for traffic. I want to fly from Manila to Ormoc, if not open, what is my best option ????

Tacloban is the best route you can do, I never heard any airport in Ormoc.

As per this report it will open on August 15. Your best bet now is to fly Manila-Tacloban (like I do) and just take some shuttle or buses to Ormoc. Or if you don't have much luggage fly to Cebu, explore the city and do some shopping for sometime and then take a fast craft to Ormoc.

Ormoc Airport will be open again for commercial flight on August 15 this year by PAL Express of Philippine Airlines.
