Ormsby bear ??

There is a bear that has glasses he came out in the 80s. I think his name is ormsby bear if thata is the real name can someone send me a picture or tell me the real name ?

You are correct... His name was Ormsby and he was featured in  "Brideshead Revisited"..... an english film of that era....

Due to the success of the british serial and subsequent film

he was later featured in stories of his own with a fellow friend- an elephant named "Jumbo" ..

this led to a toy teddy bear based on his "exploits" that was short-lived during the 80's....

This was a talking teddy bear, chocolate colour with tan inside ears. Looked like a little grandpa bear. Had moving mouth and eyes, little specs on his nose. Had a yellow bow-tie and scottish vest. He would say things like, "let's talk". When you put him on his tummy he would say, "hey, turn me over". Would turn himself off automatically saying, "see ya later".

The toy itself is hard to find but you can see the original in this picture....
