Orphan bunny fading fast?

We picked up some orphan bunnies and have been feeding them goat milk and they are eating fruit abd veggies but ones small still and his eyes are still closed but he was doing so good now he can't even stand by his self abd he is fading fast. Anything we can do? I'm giving him more milk right now

It is common for rabbit kits to die whilst being hand raised. You need to get a proper small animal formula for the rabbit and feed it every couple of hours. Keep in snuggled in a box with a couple of jumpers and a very warm hot water bottle (never hot you can burn them) If his eyes are still closed then he is not ready to eat solids yet. Personally I would take him to the vet for euthanasia, he probably will not last long. He could have an infection so separate him from the other babies.

How do you know they were orphan/?? Mother bunnies leave their babies in the nest and come back once a day to feed them. This is to keep predators from following them to the nest. How do you know they were orphan??? It is very likely YOU thought they were orphan as the mother will not attend the nest if something is watching. You should have left them were they were.

  The only thing you can do with the weak one is continue to hold it and try to feed it. Sometimes they are not suppose to survive.

go to your local feed store or vet and have them give you extra vitamin / calcium formula- he probably is having calcium and vitamin problems.

put a big stuffed bunny in there for it to be a surrogate mother. maybe bunny is going into shock and needs comfort.
