Orrissa problem : Is it a VHP created one ? Are there aggressive proselytisation efforts from missionaries?

There are aggressive Christian proselytizers in Orissa. They have been converting by bombs and swords in acts of Christian terrorism. Hindus have been responding in kind.

I don't think anyone believes that the VHP had anything to do with Saraswati's murder (probably done by Maoists) but it has been an excuse for Hindu terrorism on Christians there as well.

Against the backdrop of the tribal expulsions because of mining (and the mining being an excuse for other non-affected areas) it seems that this area is a flashpoint for several reasons, economic primarily, and with an outside religion (Christianity) coming in and very aggressively trying to stomp out the indigenous beliefs people are feeling very insecure over everything.

I don't think anybody who looks at it from the outside (and as I am neither Christan, Hindu or Indian I think I fit that description) could say that the VHP created this situation.  

BOTH sides are acting abominably.
