Question:

Ortho tri cyclen lo refills at Planned Parenthood?

I went to Planned Parenthood last Friday and they gave me a HOPE consultation. I am on the Family PACT program, so I got 3 months worth of ortho tri cyclen lo for free. But, I am just wondering, when I go back after 3 months for the refill, will Planned Parenthood give me a year's worth of ortho tri cyclen lo? Will they charge me (even if I am on Family PACT)? I am a 20 years old, full time college student, which means that I have no income. Serious answers please! Thank you so much!

  1. I was always charged a very minimal amount, but they wanted me to come back in every 6 months for a BP check -- just b/c they kept an eye on everyone for that.

For your specific situation, I'd suggest calling the office and asking them.

  2. Im not sure about the family pact, but if you already got 3 for free, you may continue to get more for free. I went to a place like that and got on ortho tri cyclen lo but they charged me $30 for 3 packs. They told me now that im 18, i have to pay more! But the pills caused me problems so I switched to Lo Estrin 24.

  3. I'm not sure what the PACT program is (may pertain to your state). I qualify for a program in my state due to my insurance not covering birth control also I have to go every 3 months for my pills. You don't need an apt you just walk in and tell them that you are there to pick up supplies and hand them your ID
