today i went to the ortho, you could say it was a typical oppointment, except i got my bottom braces on. Everything went fine but when they told me to bite down when they finished, they noticed that my upper teeth were biting down onto my bottom braces, so they put on these white pegs, or studs(i dont know what their called or how to describe them any better) on the back of my Top Front Teeth. I didnt think much of it, but when i got home i noticed that it was really hard to eat, these things make it so i cant bite down properly, none of my teeth are making contact with the others, i am conserned because not only does it affect my eating ability it affects my speech, its making my slur my words and i can not pronounce words correctly, i feel that these things arnt helping my at all, and are bugging the h**l out of me.

I need help to find out what these things are and how they could possibly help me and what should i do?(I am going to talk to my orthodontist but i wanted answers ASAP)
