Os using windows98 in office xp how to calculate date in excel

i am using os as microsoft windows 98. using microsoft office xp.

in excel how to calculate date. ie increment date ie in b2 cell 09/08/2008 is there then add 1 to that date the result will get 10/08/2008. how to calculate this.

Or if B2 is a date

B3 = B2 + 1
