If De La Hoya KO's Mayweather, will Floyd Mayweather still be the pound for pound best? How low is he going to go in the rankings?

if oscar knocks out mayweather then mayweather shouldn't be considered the best pound for pound fighter any more. I really hope oscar does knock him out. Mayweather was just running like a little girl all day. That's what he does with all his fights. He sucks. When he fought Hatton he won cuz he got help from joe Cortez. He wouldn't let hatton get near mayweather without breaking it up

I just want to Laugh at the thought that De La Hoya could even wound Mayweather , I would think it would take mayweather off the pound for pound and not lower him much on the rankings , maybe put him in number 2 at least ... but we all no this is a dream scenario

Interesting, they will probably keep PBF at no.1 depending on what the defeat is like and move Oscar up to no.2, would love to see Oscar beat him.

If Oscar De La Hoya knocks out Floyd Mayweather (highly unlikely), then Floyd will no longer be the best pound for pound.  I would say that he might still be in the top 10, but his ranking would definately go down.  Oscar would most likey ascend to number 1 because of his past accomplishments and for the fact that he (hypothetically) just knocked out the best fighter in the world.  Again, this will most likely not happen, but I hope this is the answer that you were looking for.

i think this will make mayweather fall back a couple maybe but i say MAYBE because he already beat de la hoya sooo but omg i hope de la hoya kos him i love de la hoya then that way it will be build his legacy but mayweather gonna be great even if he loses to de la hoya i mean de la hoya has got to be the one guy that he wouldnt mind losing to

Hasn't Mayweather already beaten pretty boy LaHoya. I think LaHoya came out of retirement for the fight but after getting his *** whooped he went back to modeling.
