Is Oscar De La Hoya going to give Chavez Jr. a chance to avenge his father's loss?...i've heard that many people hate de la hoya for beating a faded Chavez Sr.

I would really like to see this fight. It would make millions and sell out seats. Even though Chavez Jr. has fought fighters who aren't famous. They've had pretty decent records. And, he's beaten other undefeated fighters.

And, Chavez Jr. almost reaches mayweather's record. Mayweather is undefeated with about 39 fights. Chavez Jr. is undefeated with about 36.

So...is this fight going to happen?...and who would like to see it besides me?

  1. With a fading De La Hoya and a up and Coming Chavez Jr. I would definently like to see this fight happen it would be pretty ironic senario but i dont see it happening because I do belive De la Hoya is retiring after 08 and wont come back because he has to much going on outside of boxing ring.

But on the bright side i do hear that Chavez jr will be facing off with Hector Camacho jr. in his next bout.

  2. I cant see it happening, Im sure Chavez sr wouldnt do that to his son. Oscar would rip him apart.

Chaves jr has been more protected then any fighter ive seen, hes still really young so they know they can take their time he is only like 20, 21 years old.

His opponents have been hand picked. Hes a bit bigger then Oscar, but It wouldnt matter, It would be Boy vs Man, and it would be a painfull lesson for him.

By the time Chavez jr is ready for Oscar, Im sure Oscar would be retired.

If they tried to make the fight right now it would be looked at as a farce money grab. Im sure Jr wants no part of Oscar.

Lets wait till Chavez takes on a top 10 fighter before you think about making that fight happen.

They have basically put him in with guys who cant punch worth c**p, and the guys they put him in with that could punch, were slow and didnt know how to box to save their life.

Every fighter takes hand picked fights to pad his record and get expereince, but i dont know of any that took hand picked soft opponents once there up into 30 fights.

  3. This is a perfict fight for Oscar these are the kind of fights he wins I can see this happening

  4. Julio Jr. has 39-0 with average boxers in contrast with Floyd's above quality boxers. no comparison

Oscar would practically administer Julio Jr. a boxing lesson if they ever encounter in a boxing ring.

One thing to highlight here is that Julio Jr. does not have amateur experience. And all 39 fights are part of his learning experience as a boxer.

By the time Julio Jr. is ready to fight the likes of Oscars or Floyd, Oscar will be retired from boxing.

Yes I would like to see it but Julio Jr. would suffer a terrible defeat.
