Oscar Whisky enters National Hunt Flat race
Fresh from his last two glorious victories, Oscar Whisky is going to run in Better Prices On Betfair Mobile “Jumpers Bumper” National Hunt Flat Race on Friday, February 10, to test the level of his preparations for next month’s Cheltenham Festival.
In the 2 mile long Class 6 race at Kempton, the dashing horse will compete against 41 horses:
Agitation,  Al Sirat ,  Amirico ,  Balustrade ,  Black Cache ,  Champion Court ,  Chartplan ,  Court In Session ,  Dixie Case ,  Dormouse ,  Five Rivers ,  Furrows ,  Hard to Swallow ,  I Shot The Sheriff ,  Kasbadali ,  Knight Pass ,  Marodima ,  Milgen
Bay ,  Military Precision ,  Noble Scholar ,  Olofi ,  Oscar Prairie ,  Overdraught ,  Power Man ,  Silver Accord ,  Sir Boreas Hawk ,  Sir Harry Ormesher ,  Sir Tantallus Hawk ,  Snow Patrol ,  Sweet Irony ,  The Names Harry ,  Tonic Mellysse ,  Tornado Bob
,  Uncle Johnny ,  Walden Prince ,  Woolcombe Folly ,  Emmabel ,  Flat Cap Thursday ,  Jenny’s Gold ,  Sky Hole and Where’s Josie.
This event is being perceived as a stepping stone for the seven-year-old black gelding, who is set to face the big adversaries like, Big Buck’s, in the Ladbrokes World Hurdle on March 15.
Earlier, the horse was set to participate in the Welsh Champion Hurdle at Ffos Las last weekend, but the contest was abandoned due to unfavourable weather.
Trained by Nicky Henderson, Oscar Whisky possesses an outstanding career record. Making his debut in March 2009, the young runner has won 9 out of his 12 starts so far. His triumphs include 2 NHF and 7 Hurdle races.
Owned by Walters Plant Hire Ltd, the dashing horse has showed his talent on various tracks. His accumulated earning so far is £218,162.
In his last two races, Oscar Whisky performed very well. On December 10, 2011, he ran as the 4 to 9 favourite, while he was sent as the 4 to 6 favourite on January 1, 2012. He had four consecutive victories at the start of his career.
These two consecutive triumphs have hiked the gelding’s confidence to a great extent, and he is likely to make an impact on Friday before going to Cheltenham, where he will have an acid test of his ability.

His potential competitor, Big Buck’s, seems to be at the peak of his form which will surely help him thrive in the high-profile event.
