DLH all the way, Oscar is not going to risk $50 mil in September for this fight. They're regarding this fight as a "tune-up" for Mayweather.

i think De La Hoya is gonna win, but Steve Forbes i definately gonna bring his A game..

I normally root for Oscar and I think he will win.  However, I'm hoping that Forbes will upset him because I really don't want to see De La Hoya vs Mayweather 2.  There are two reasons for this.

1. The first fight was boring and people shelled out FAR too much to see it.  It might be a bit more exciting at 147 but, when you think of it, do we really NEED to see them fight again?   I would MUCH rather see Mayweather fight Cotto or even Margarito.  

2. I would like the see the Mayweather "Family Feud" removed from boxing.   I can't help but wonder how it would feel for Big Floyd if he helps Oscar beat his son.  They are father and son and usually when people are separated the son will side with mom.  More over, as in this case,  mom often raises the son to hate the father regardless to whatever real problems might exist.  

Often it's between Man and Woman and the son is just a hapless pawn (Little Floyd in this case).  Ask him why he hates his father and he can't even give you a straight sensible answer.  It's because someone is speaking for him.  

The bottom line is that they are FAMILY and THAT should have a much stronger bond than ANYTHING including mom's hate and Oscar's money.  

I hope both Floyd Sr. and Jr.  can iron out their differences.  I am blessed to have been close to both my parents, God rest their souls.   I don't know a bigger boxing fan than myself but I would rather miss the fight than to see Floyd Sr. in the corner against his son just for a few Oscar dollars or because one is too proud to bury the hatchet and embrace the other.    

I think it could be done but it would take effort on both Floyd Jr. and Sr.  It might not mean much here but dissin his dad in public and on TV just isn't cool.   Giving into Oscar's millions against his son isn't either.

I would rather see  Mayweather vs Cotto   and De La Hoya vs Trinidad

I am Hoping Steve Forbes wins becasue I dont want to see Mayweather vs Dela hoya again. I thint Forbes training with the Mayweather family is going to be a great advatage becasue Rodger knows how to beat him and i am sure with Steve changing trainers the game plan hasnt change much.
