Oskar Krupecki clinches Men’s 50m butterfly gold: Day four – Polish LC Championships
Oskar Krupecki of MKP Szczecin clinched gold medal of the Men’s 50m butterfly on day four of the Polish Long Course Championships in Olsztyn, Poland on May 15.
Krupecki demonstrated his stupendous efforts in the single lap butterfly discipline and proved his mettle for gold medal of the event.
His immaculate effort remained marginally ahead of his challengers as he occupied gold medal of the event with the timing of 24.32 seconds.
The champion was trailed by Jacek Sokulski, who stayed 0.13 seconds slower from the gold medallist and hit the finishing wall with the timing of 24.45 seconds.
The silver medallist was faced by Pawel Korzeniowski, who stayed 0.14 seconds apart and ensured his place on the podium for bronze medal by producing a time of 24.59 seconds.
The bronze medallist was trailed by Michal SO Poprawa, who stayed 0.03 seconds apart and hit the finishing wall for fourth position by posting a time of 24.62 seconds.
Similarly, Poprawa was chased by Kacper Majchrzak, who was only 0.02 seconds slower from the fourth best finisher by submitting a time of 24.64 seconds.
Sixth best spot of the event was trailed by Maciej Lewandowski, who was just one stroke slower from his foregoing finisher and settled on the finishing wall with an effort of 24.71 seconds.
Lewandowski was chased by Jakub Jasinski, who remained 0.08 seconds apart and secured seventh position of the event by reporting a time of 24.79 seconds.
Similarly, Jasinski was chased by Marcin Babuchowski, who proved his eligibility for eighth position of the event by tapping the wall with an effort of 24.92 seconds.
Ninth position of the butterfly discipline was secured by Piotr Kowalik, who stayed 0.03 seconds slower and finished his swim in a time of 24.95 seconds.
Last position of the event was obtained by Jan Smolinski, who was 0.22 seconds behind and concluded his race in a time of 25.17 seconds.
Furthermore, the championship concluded after the completion of all planned events while the position holders were placed on the victory stand for their gruelling forms at the medal ceremony of the tournament.
