    This is a very funny question. In physiology OSMOSIS is defined as the downhill movement of water across a concentration gradient (from area of higher concentration to area of lower concentration). Using this premise it is very clear that the answer is false.

    Note: The movement of water is dependent upon the concentration of solute.
