Ospreys undeserving of their Heineken Cup quarter-final berth?

Ospreys briefly fielded 16 players against Leicester Tigers in their final Pool Three match.

But a win sent them through to the tournament's quarter-finals. Should they be kicked out of the competition? Or is it just the referee's fault?
